The most important vehicle in the confusing number of types offered at that time was the Benz 8/18 hp (not to be confused with the 8/18 hp of 1908) available since 1910 which was called 8/20 hp from 1912 onwards. It was a small car of high quality fitted with a 2-litre-engine that was enlarged to 2.1 litres in 1914. At the upper end of the range the 82/200 hp with 21.5-litre displacement was offered; the driving unit was an airship-engine. |
